Dum spiro, spero

This is a personal disconnect-
This is the part where nothing comes out right.

I can't be anything and everything and nothing.
I don't want to be "all of the above".
I don't know what first person pronouns have to do with this.

I am only what I make of me.

A Note To The Nightmares

No, no, no.
Don’t keep repeating yourself like some ghastly premonition using repetition to heighten the sense of foreboding and doom-
it gets old.
Also, I doubt the creative faculty is dead so please stop mirroring life. Living through recurrent bullshit is quite enough.
It is true that you have illuminated the damaged parts of my psyche, for this, my gratitude.
Finally, please reschedule yourselves to weekends, I really can’t afford wasting weekdays on wretchedness.

Gracias.

I have no fear of losing you, for you aren’t an object of my property, or anyone else’s. I love you as you are, without attachment, without fears, without conditions, without egoism, trying not to absorb you. I love you freely because I love your freedom, as well as mine.

—Anthony de Mello (via -warmtea)

What we have here, my good people, is my heart strung in fine syntax.

He knew that when he kissed this girl, and forever wed his unutterable visions to her perishable breath, his mind would never romp again like the mind of God. So he waited, listening for a moment longer to the tuning-fork that had been struck upon a star. Then he kissed her. At his lips’ touch she blossomed for him like a flower and the incarnation was complete.

F. Scott Fitzgerald (The Great Gatsby)

If they don’t get this part right, I might cry.
It’s got the purest potential for pathos.
